Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents to discuss settling territorial conflict
A meeting of Armenian President Robert Kocharyan and Azerbaijani PresidentGeidar Aliyev will take place in the Naxcivan part of theArmenian-Azerbaijani border today. At the ARKA news agency reported, thePresidents agreed to have this meeting during a telephone conversation onAugust 6, 2002. At this meeting, the parties are to discuss peacefulsettlement of the Karabakh conflict. As Aliyev stressed, both partiesinitiated this meeting, the Trend news agency reported.The latest meeting of the two presidents took place in Moscow on November30, 2001, within the summit of leaders of the CIS countries.
