Armenia is discussing the possibility of supplying about 8 million kilowatt hours of electrical energy per day to Georgia, the Armenergo energy utility (Armenia) reported and pointed out that Armenia was ready to export electrical energy only if it was paid in full. Today, the Energy Ministries of the two countries are discussing supplies of Armenian electrical energy to Georgia, the ARMINFO news agency reported.

After a failure at the Ingurskaya Hydroelectric Power Plant on November 8, Georgia was almost de-energized. Georgia urgently addressed Armenia asking for imports of electrical energy.
