One American Dead, One Wounded Near Mazar-I-Sharif When Suppressing Taliban PoWs' Riot
One American serviceman was killed, another heavily wounded on Sunday when suppressing an armed rebellion of Taliban mercenaries in a prison near Mazar-i-Sharif. The ABC television company reported making reference to sources in the US administration, that both had been drafted by the CIA. A Pentagon spokesman previously claimed that no American servicemen were wounded or killed during the riot.
