Chechen delegation to visit St. Petersburg

A delegation of the Chechen administration being led by Akhmad Kadyrov is coming to St. Petersburg to sign an agreement on cooperation in the trade, economic, scientific, technological, cultural and social spheres with the city's administration. According to the press service of the St. Petersburg administration, the signing of the first joint agreement in the history of Chechnya's inter-regional relations is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27.

Later on, the sides might sign a protocol of concrete programs, mainly those dealing with the economic sphere, said the press service. For instance, St. Petersburg is ready to help choose suppliers of construction materials and equipment.

During its visit to St. Petersburg, which ends on August 28, the delegation will hold a number of meetings with executive authorities and business circles of St. Petersburg.
