Ukrainian official speaks in favor of unification of Russian and Ukrainian legislation
The unification of Russian and Ukrainian legislation should have a positiveimpact on bilateral economic ties of the two countries and not impede therelations with other countries, Chairman of the Ukrainian parliamentVladimir Litvin declared while speaking on the current state of relationsbetween the two parliaments. At the same time, he remarked that thisprocess should look as "adjusting one legislation to another." Litvin also expressed his belief that the Russian-Ukrainian collaborationcan be perfect, if the two countries choose a tolerant approach, i.e. clearunderstanding of their mutual benefit and equality. .
