The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the decree of President Poroshenko about partial mobilization. As many as 232 MPs voted for with the required minimum of 226 votes.

According to the president, partial mobilization is necessary in the country in connection with the events in the east of Ukraine.

According to the decree, partial mobilization will be conducted in all 24 regions of the country, as well as in Kiev. The mobilization will be conducted within 45 days after the decree comes into force, RIA Novosti reports.

Earlier, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andrey Paruby, reported that partial mobilization was required to rotate security forces in the conflict zone in the east, as well as to reinforce the troops.

During the discussion of the law, a fight broke out at the Ukrainian parliament between MPs of Svoboda (Freedom) and Party of Regions factions.

Nikolai Levchenko, an MP of the Party of Regions, said that the Ukrainian army was killing people. The deputy made the remark after the vote on the law on partial mobilization.

Parliament speaker Alexander Tyrchinov switched off Levchenko's microphone and deprived him of the right to complete his speech. The MPs then started to discuss the procedural issue to remove the deputy of the Party of Regions from the hall.

Meanwhile, the parents of Ukrainian conscripts, who are sent to war, have staged several actions of protest across the country.
