Republicans struggle to delay Obama's health care law

House Republicans pressed ahead Wednesday on delaying key components of President Barack Obama's signature health care law, emboldened by the administration's concession that requiring companies to provide coverage for their workers next year may be too complicated, informs The Journal News.

U.S. Rep. Tom Graves author of the Defund Obamacare Act (H.R. 2682), issued the following statement after voting to delay the enforcement of Obamacare's employer and individual mandates for one year:"Businesses have their delay and the special interests have their waivers. Let's not to leave working families on the tracks for the Obamacare train wreck", according to Rome News Wire.

The goal of the health care law is to provide coverage to nearly 50 million Americans without health insurance and lower skyrocketing costs. But in the three years since Obama signed his signature law, the public remains highly skeptical and the administration's abrupt decision earlier this month to delay the employer provision only fueled more doubts, reports Huffington Post.
