Boston court bomb threat proved false

On Wednesday afternoon security officials in Boston evacuated the building of the federal court due to a bomb threat, says Fox News.

Hundreds of people gathered in front of the court building, with court personnel, law enforcement officers and journalists among them. Noteworthy, it was originally said that the police arrested a man suspected of conducting the terrorist acts in Boston. The information was subsequently rebutted, although, according to CNN, the police still had two suspects.

According to most recent reports, the bomb threat proved to be false, and the building reopened late in the afternoon. However, according to New England Cable News, several emergency vehicles were still on duty near the court building.

Judge Jonathan Shapiro said that he was in the midst of a trial and was listening to a witness, when a loud sound went on, and "red alert" was announced. The judge added that the sound did not sound like fire alarm. The sound was accompanied by loud screams of a security officer, who was announcing the evacuation.
