Russia can completely refuse from Ukrainian defense products during 2.5 years

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Rogozin, commenting on Ukraine's move to ban cooperation with the Russian Federation in the field of the military-industrial complex, said that Russia already had a plan to substitute imports of Ukraine-made defense products.

First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Vitaly Yarema, said earlier that Ukrainian President Poroshenko, speaking at a meeting of the Council for National Security and Defence on June 16 banned any cooperation with Russia in the military-industrial complex.

"Poroshenko banned the cooperation with Russia in the defense sector. Too late. On June 10, Russia's Ministry for Industrial Trade introduced a plan for complete substitution of imports of Ukrainian military products. The plan is the result of meticulous work of professionals: where, what, how and for how much money should be produced and who is responsible for that," wrote Rogozin on his Twitter account.

It was reported earlier that the import substitution program for enterprises of the military-industrial complex (MIC) in the field of communications and information technologies would be prepared by the end of 2014. According to Rogozin, the Russian industry will be able to completely refuse from the products produced at the  Ukraine defense complex during two and a half years.
