Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan is leaving Moscow for Reykjavik on Tuesday to participate in a meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member countries of the North-Atlantic Partnership Council. As RIA Novosti was told in the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, in the capital of Iceland Oskanyan will also meet Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Turkey Vilayat Guliyev and Ismail Cem. Oskanyan will hold a bilateral meeting with his Turkish counterpart at which, as the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry says, it is envisaged to discuss the development of regional cooperation. As a high-ranking Armenian diplomat who did not wish his name to be mentioned told RIA Novosti, "the Ministers are likely to discuss the possibility of opening the borders between Armenia and Turkey, as well as the prospects of settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and will reach agreement on future meetings."
