Belarusian President Lukashenko can not sleep because of Chavez

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko admitted that he was up all night, worrying about the results of the presidential election in Venezuela. "I do not know how about you, but I had a sleepless night. I am very happy for our friend Hugo Chavez. I should say that he did good. Even we can learn from these elections," the Belarusian leader told RBC.

"It was an unconditional victory, and the main alternative candidate acknowledged his defeat. This means a lot too - it shows the dignity of that person," said Lukashenko.

Lukashenko also said that Minsk would intensify all of its activities in Venezuela." "We must help Hugo Chavez respond to the Venezuelan people with good. This is a great lump of work for us and a definite benefit too. So we must necessarily elaborate on that part at the Presidential Administration," Lukashenko said.

Alexander Lukashenko said that Hugo Chavez could always count on the "brotherly shoulder of Belarus to ensure the sustainable development of the Venezuelan state in all areas: oil production, industry, science and agriculture," adds BelTA. Belarus President wished the Venezuelan leader's health, creativity and inexhaustible energy to continue the fruitful activity for the benefit of the friendly Venezuelan people.
