Macedonian Authorities Accuse Albanian Separatists Of Preparing For New Armed Conflicts
The Macedonian authorities have accused Albanian separatists of preparations for new armed conflicts. Official Government Representative Georgi Trendafilov said on Tuesday that the Albanians' National Liberation Army, which is officially disbanded, has been recruiting and arming new men. It is reported that arms, ammunition, and personal equipment are smuggled into the country from the adjacent Yugoslav province of Kosovo. According to the Macedonian special services, rebel groups are preparing to carry out terrorist attacks in the winter.
