Sleeping driver cannot brake

A bus driver who may have fallen asleep at the wheel drove off a road in Thailand and hit a tree, killing himself and 14 passengers and injuring 25 others early Tuesday, authorities said. The bus was travelling from Bangkok to the town of Lumsak at night when it crashed into a tree by the road 185 miles north of the capital. Local police said there was no sign that the driver tried to brake, uggesting he fell asleep. According to the AP, all those killed were Thais.
