Tehran wants Iranian dossier closed?

Iran will take all the necessary measures to reach an agreement on nuclear technologies and the closing of the Iranian dossier with the International Atomic Energy Agency /IAEA/, Abdollah Ramazanzadeh, official spokesman for the Iranian government, said in a statement on Thursday.

"We don't want the Iranian dossier to be passed over to the UN Security Council, and we'll try to prevent this from happening," the spokesman said.

Commenting on IAEA General Director Dr. Mohamed ElBaradei's request to fulfil the IAEA Board of Governors' resolution by signing the additional Protocol to the Non-Proliferation Treaty allowing surprise inspections of Iran's nuclear facilities, Ramazanzadeh said Iran was "fulfilling its tasks in accordance with its commitments." "If we sign a commitment, we shall fulfil it, but no decision was made so far as to the IAEA Board of Governors' resolution," he pointed out. "We shall shortly report our position on the problem."
