Russian Exposition at Air Show in China Took Into Account Asian Armed Forces' Demands
Russian exposition at the fourth International airspace exhibition "Air show China-02", which will be held in the Chinese town of Chuhai on November 4th-7th, took into account the world latest trends in military science and demands of the Asian countries' armed forces.
This statement was made by a representative from the "Rosoboronexport" federal state unitary enterprise /FGUP/, under the aegis of which 25 enterprises and organisations of the Russian defense industry will exhibit their produce as models, posters and advertising materials at the present air show.
For example, almost all the series of Su planes, including multifunctional Su-27SK, Su-30MK and Su-35/Su-35UB fighters, a Su-33 ship-based plane, a training Su-49 plane and a Su-32 fighter-bomber have been exhibited in the salon. The "Rosoboronexport" representative recalled that the world-famous multifunctional two-seater fighter Su-30MK had been added to the arsenal of a number of leading Asian countries' armed forces.
Another famous Russian aircraft creator and producer, Russian aircraft constructing corporation /RSK/ MiG has exhibited to the guests and participants of the exhibition a Mig-29SMT multifunctional front fighter and a MiG-AT training plain. Besides, the corporation has also presented detailed modernization programs of MiG-29, MiG-21 and MiG-27 planes.
"Such programs are already being realized in a number of Asian countries, which have added these planes to their armed forces' arsenal," the "Rosoboronexport" representative pointed out.
"The antiterrorist coalition's operations in Afghanistan's mountains and deserts have proved the important role of helicopters both impact-military and transport ones, that is why the exposition's significant place has been devoted to "Kamov" and "Mil" helicopters, he stated.
The "Rosoboronexport" exposition also includes modern aviation and anti-ship rockets, aero-engine for different types of aircraft, onboard radar station, a wide range of optic-electronic systems, different elements of onboard equipment for "Sukhoi" and "Mikoyan" plane series, different types of data processing systems for helicopters.
