8th Radonezh international festival of Orthodox cinema, TV, radio programmes opens in Moscow

The 8th Radonezh international festival of Orthodox cinema, TV and radio programmes opened in Moscow on Monday with the blessing of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy II.

The festival has been regularly held since 1995. Traditionally, some 60-100 state and private TV and radio companies from Russia and other countries are participating in it.

The best festival programmes will be shown on all-Russia TV channels. In addition to contest shows, master-classes, roundtables and meetings with Orthodox priests will be held as part of the forum.
