Beyonce's Parents Quit

Grammy-winning U.S. R&B singer Beyonce Knowles's parents are getting divorced.

Tina Knowles filed for divorce from her husband Matthew in Harris County, Texas, newspapers reported Friday. The divorce filing follows a paternity claim made against the pop singer's father.

Matthew Knowles was the target of an October paternity case in which a woman, whose identity was not released, alleged he was the father of her unborn child.

Matthew Knowles, who also serves as Beyonce's manager, and his wife have been married 29 years.

The couple also have another daughter, singer Solange Knowles.
