Russian dancing couple among the participants in World Championship in Belgium
A dancing couple from Togliatti (a town on the Volga River) Alexander and Olga Kukushkin will represent Russia during the World Championship in Ballroom Dancing, which starts on Saturday in Belgium.
According to the sources in Togliatti Mayor's Office, they won this right by taking first and second places during the international tournaments "St. Petersburg Professional Ballroom Dancing Cup" and the "Russian Club Cup" accordingly.
In April of 2002, the dancers also showed a successful performance during the RF Championship in Professional Ballroom Dancing in Moscow, receiving silver and bronze medals in different categories.
Generally, two dancing couples represent each country participating in the World Championships.
