Russia's first tennis racket Anastasia Myskina now ranks 11th in the world

Anastasya Myskina who has the highest standing among all the Russian women tennis players went one line up in the newly-published rating list of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA).

Myskina is now ranking 11th and has 1,874 points.

American player Serena Williams, the younger of Williams sisters, is the leader as before with 5,596 points. She is followed by her elder sister Venus (4,844 points). One more representative of the USA, Jennifer Capriati, is in third place (3,520).

The list of WTA's 100 best players includes, alongside Anastasya Myskina, nine other Russian tennis players. It is noteworthy that four of them improved their standing in the rating list while the others retained their positions. Tatyana Panova (24th place, 1,155 points), Yelena Bovina (26th, 1,137), Anna Kournikova (35th, 960) and Vera Zvonareva (45, 748.25 points) went one grade up.

The other Russian women tennis players are ranking as follows: 19. Yelena Dementyeva (1,393 points), 42. Yelena Likhovtseva (842.75), 43. Svetlana Kuznetsova (818), 68. Dinara Safina (520,25), 84. Alina Zhidkova (452.75).
