Clooney Received An Emmy Award for Humanitarian Work

George Clooney, awarded an Emmy for his humanitarian work, had a relaxing day: Friends, including John Krasinski came to his house to shoot some hoops before the show, Clooney said backstage.

Clooney later told reporters that the highlight of his night was hanging out backstage with Tom Selleck and Al Pacino. In addition to his work for Darfur, Clooney organized a telethon for victims of the Haitian earthquake, Newser says.
