Happiest people live Down Under

The happiest people live in Australia. This was the result of a study based on eleven factors, including the ratio of work, free time and life expectancy. The factors were provided from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

In Australia, 84 percent of polled respondents said that they were happy with their lives. The average life expectancy on the green continent is 82 years, whereas the employment rate is 73 percent.

The top of the list also includes Sweden, Canada, Norway, Switzerland and the United States. The top ten of best countries to live in includes Denmark, the Netherlands, Iceland and the United Kingdom. Russia was ranked 32nd.
