Five foods to ease stress quickly

The human body always needs vital nutrients that support our nervous system, especially in difficult situations. Below is the list of foods that you can have every day to destress.

1. Almonds

Almonds contain a full range of B complex vitamins. The almond is a nutritionally dense food of the B vitamins riboflavin and niacin, vitamin E, and the essential minerals calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, and zinc. They are also rich in dietary fiber, monounsaturated fats, and polyunsaturated fats, fats which potentially may lower LDL cholesterol. Almonds also contain phytosterols such as beta-sitosterol, stigmasterol, campesterol, sitostanol, and campestanol, which have been associated with cholesterol-lowering properties.

2. Green Tea

Green tea contains a variety of enzymes, amino acids, carbohydrates, lipids, sterols, related compounds, dietary minerals, and phytochemicals such as polyphenols, flavanols, and caffeine. Polyphenols found in green tea include but are not limited to epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), epigallocatechin, epicatechin gallate, and epicatechin; flavanols such as kaempferol, quercetin, and myricitin are also found in green tea. Numerous claims have been made for the health benefits of green tea based on its chemical composition, in vitro studies, animal studies, and human epidemiological studies.

3. Maca Root

Maca, a root that belongs to the radish family, is most commonly available in powder form. Maca is rich in vitamin B vitamins, C, and E. It provides plenty of calcium, zinc, iron, magnesium, phosphorous and amino acids. Maca is widely used to promote sexual function of both men and women. It supplies iron and helps restore red blood cells, which aids anemia and cardiovascular diseases. Maca keeps your bones and teeth healthy

4. Salmon

Salmon is considered to be healthy due to the fish's high protein, high omega-3 fatty acids, and high vitamin D content. Salmon is also a source of cholesterol, with a range of 23-214 mg/100 g depending on the species. Farmed salmon is shown to have a high omega 3 fatty acid content comparable to wild salmon.

5. Oranges

Because oranges have so much Vitamin C, this fruit can lower stress levels and strengthen the immune system. People with higher blood pressure and elevated cortisol reported reduced levels quicker when taking Vitamin C before a stressful task.
