On Tuesday, June 25th, Eiffel Tower box offices were closed due to the strike of the tower employees. Many tourists could not visit the famous symbol of the French capital.

According to the administration of the General Confederation of Labour trade union, whose members make up the majority of the personnel of the iconic tower, workers demand better working conditions and higher wages. In addition, the workers want to attract attention to low security level of the popular tourist site.

On Monday, the parties conducted negotiations, however, after a seven-hour debate, a compromise could not be found. On Tuesday night, a new round of negotiations is expected. Following the results of the talks, it will become known whether the strike continues on Wednesday.
