The Memory Of Space Rocket Testers Honoured At Baikonur And Plesetsk
At the Russian launch sites at Baikonaur and Plesetsk missile men honoured the memory of testers of space-rocket equipment. The ceremony took place by tradition on 24th October, the anniversary day in memory of missile men, killed in tests. Flowers were laid at the memorial in honour of those killed on duty in October 1960 and 1963 in Kazakhstan; in June 1973 and in March 1980, in the Archangel region, during the experimental launch of new rockets.
