Cannibal Corpse tour in Russia disrupted almost completely

Cannibal Corpse fans were detained in St. Petersburg after the concert of the band in the city had been canceled. The fan were charged with disorderly conduct.

As many as 18 fans of the band were arrested. The concert of the notorious band was canceled shortly before it was going to start. The arrested individuals were  charged with disorderly conduct and drinking alcohol in public places.

After the concert of Canibal Corpse St. Petersburg was canceled, the disappointed fans clashed with police. Eleven of the arrested fans were soon released to come to their trial later; the cases of seven other people were sent to court immediately.

The concert was to be held on Sunday at Cosmonaut Club in St. Petersburg. According to organizers, it was canceled for "technical reasons" a few hours before the scheduled start. The musicians had arrived at the club to give autographs to fans. However, the fans were too angry with the cancellation of the show. They started throwing bottled at OMON officers. As a result, the police blocked a section of the street, on which the club was located and arrested 18 people.

The tour of Cannibal Corpse in Russia was disrupted almost completely. On October 5, the concert of the band was canceled in Ufa "for technical reasons." On October 10, the concert in Nizhny Novgorod was interrupted with an unscheduled inspection of the Federal Drug Control Service. On October 11, again, for "technical reasons," the band could not play in Moscow. The only city, were Cannibal Corpse played normally, was Yekaterinburg; the show took place on 8 October. The concert in Chelyabinsk on October 7 passed without incidents too, but was moved from the center to the outskirts of the city.
