The reasons why the Kursk nuclear submarine wrecked will be known within this year with Compartment One fragment expertise, Vladimir Ustinov, Russia's Prosecutor-General, said to the media. Docked in Roslyakovo near Murmansk, the dead submarine will have its inner compartments cleaned of debris by the month's end or early in February as detailed investigation and body identification goes on. 91 bodies out of a crew of 118 have been found for today. The Kursk wrecked in a blast of August 12, 2000, during naval exercises in the Barents Sea.
