Man lives in cage with lions for 35 days

Man lives in cage with lions for 35 days. 45324.jpegAlexander Pylyshenko, a Ukrainian man, who shut himself in a cage with a lioness 35 years ago, is going to end his experiment. Alexander owns a private zoo, and he decided to live in one cage with lioness Katia and her two cubs that were born in August.

"I can say that my experiment turned out to be more successful than I thought. Five weeks in one cage with lioness Katia have overturned my conscience. We established absolute confidence with each other. The predator developed human traits and even enjoyed eating my food - soup and fried potatoes. I learned a lot about animal honesty, sincerity and kindness," Pylyshenko told Interfax.

The man also said that the moment of the completion of the experiment will be registered by an official representative of the Guinness Book of World Records in Ukraine.

Tens of people from Ukraine and other countries came to visit Pylyshenko's zoo in five weeks of his life in the cage with the lions. Alexander is an artist by profession. The paintings that he painted in the cage will be auctioned after the experiment ends. He plans to use the profit to improve the living conditions of his pets - the lions, a bear and other wild animals that live in the yard of his house.
