Nun jams needle in little boy's hand to show him what Jesus felt on cross

Allegedly, Sister Ludovita called the child, Adam Celko, to the front of the class and jammed a needle in his hand so that the boys could feel what Jesus Christ was feeling when being crucified. A nun from Slovakia allegedly stabbed a seven-year-old student during a class on religious education.

Reportedly, the nun was also trying to show the boy what would happen if he misbehaved.

"When Adam got home he had a wound on the back of his hand and when I asked him what had happened he told me the nun had done it. I was completely shocked. I mean, what on earth was she thinking?" the boy's mother said.

A spokesperson for the school in Slovakia, where the incident occurred, said:

"We strongly disapprove of this sort of teaching method. When I contacted the Sister she told me that the class had been learning about Jesus Christ and personal sin. She added that the children had been invited to voluntarily experience mild pain so they could empathize with the theme. She said she had invited the pupils to prick themselves if they wanted to but were not forced to. She denies stabbing the boy and says he did it himself. Either way, this is inappropriate behavior and will not be tolerated in this school.

A local priest said that the Sister Ludovita was removed from school.
