Bolshoi Theater choreographer knows who threw acid in his face

Artistic director of the Bolshoi Theater Sergei Filin said that he knew the name of the person who could organize an attack on him, Filin told the BBC.

Sergei Filin did not mention the name of the attacker in the interview on Sunday, In his view, before making such statements, one should obtain hard evidence first. Filin hopes that police will help him confirm his suspicion during investigation.

According to Filin, the person, who splashed acid in his face, was just an executor of someone else's order. He is confident that the incident is connected with a scandalous story of two years ago, which took place to his predecessor Gennady Yanin. The latter was forced to resign as a result of bullying on the Internet.

The choreographer declined to comment the version of Nikolai Tsiskaridze's involvement in the acid attack.
