Japanese scientists have invented a device that is capable of transmitting odors at a distance. The miniature pink device called The Scentee, created by ChatPerf, connects to your phone and emits desired odors at the time when a person plays games, watches videos. Various smells are enclosed in small plastic containers that are installed in the lower part of The Scentee adapter.

The adapter is currently available for Apple iPhones. The Android version is expected to be released in September. The adapter also makes it possible to send scents to someone else in a text message or an email.

The invention has arrived 1.5 months after Google's April Fool's Day prank called Google Nose.
