Scientists have found that cheetahs are not only the fastest of all land animals but they are also incredibly maneuverable. The animals can accelerate even faster than Ferrari vehicles, zoologists concluded after long observations of cheetahs in the wild.

To find out the speed of the animal was not an easy task. In zoos, cheetahs, when chasing the prey, could develop the speed of around 105 km/h running on the straight line. This is twice the speed of fastest runners among humans.

The musculoskeletal system of the predator is three times stronger than the skeleton, muscles and ligaments of the horses trained for the games of polo. Specialists were so inspired with their discovery that they decided to continue their study on other animals: lions or wild dogs.
