Guitarist dies on stage in Belarus

The bass guitarist of Belarusian band Litvintroll, Oleg Klimchenko, died during Mass Medium-2012 concert, which took place in the city of Gomel. According to preliminary data, the musician died on stage from an electric shock.

Officials with the Investigative Committee of the Gomel region said that the musician appeared on stage at around 19:15 and collapsed some time later, reports News of Gomel. The concert was stopped. Paramedics took life-saving efforts, but they could not help the man.  

At the initial examination, the doctors found no traces of electric shock on the body of the 35-year-old bassist, even though it was the first unofficial version that appeared to explain the musician's cause of death during the first hours after the accident, the Belarusian News said.

The police have already launched investigation into the death of Oleg Klimchenko. According to Ultra-Music, the musician could die from a heart failure too.
