A new "United Russian Industial Party" appeared on the political scene
On Tuesday, Deputy Justice Minister Yevgeny Sedorenko handed the certificate of registration to president of the new "United Russian Industrial Party" Elena Panina.
According to the sources in the RF Justice Ministry, an all-Russian political organization bearing the same name was formed in April of 1995, and in summer of 2002 it was transformed into a political party.
Among the main goals of the party are, in particular, "the establishment of socially-oriented multi-structural market economy; the assistance in conducting the real social and economic reforms in the country; and the protection of the interests of national industry and domestic commodity producers." According to the party officials, its regional branches are spread among 73 federal subjects and the number of its members is over 100,000 people.
