President Putin, State Sport Committee Chairman Fetisov discuss mass sport development
President Vladimir Putin met with Chairman of the State Sport Committee Vyacheslav Fetisov on Tuesday. They discussed the mass sport development and the work of the sport committee.
The Russian president was interested, in particular, in the preparations for sports games between Russia's nations, scheduled for 2003.
Fetisov reported on these preparations, stressing that all regions are involved in it. According to him, the committee agreed with the Moscow authorities to hold the finals of these competitions in the Russian capital.
Fetisov also informed the Russian president on the current work of the State Sport Committee.
