RAO UES of Russia's CEO comments on upcoming fall-winter heating season
RAO UES of Russia's CEO Anatoly Chubais calls the situation with thepreparation for the upcoming fall-winter heating season "normal". According to the Russian energy giant's CEO, the currentcoal reserves of RAO UES are nearly 2.8m tons, which is 4 percent higherthan the planned figure. Chubais also pointed out RAO UES of Russia'spayments to fuel suppliers in the first half of this year had allowed fornot only covering the entire volume of supply costs, but also cutting backthe company's debt by 16 percent.
