RTS may launch currency trading
The RTS stock exchange is considering the possibility of opening a section of a currency market and an interbank credit market, President of RTS Ivan Tyryshkin declared at a conference "Financial Market: Instruments and Infrastructure" today. This issue will be discussed at a Board Meeting of RTS on November 29. If the Board supports this decision, "we will voice it next week."
It is worth mentioning that RTS is known as a stock exchange now and never performed currency trading.
