In Grozny one of "Rosneft" enterprises comes under attack

Last night, a group of 10-12 men attacked one of "Rosneft" enterprises in the Staropromyslovsky district of Grozny. There was an exchange of fire which left a security guard, a policeman Umar Magomadov, seriously wounded.

According to the source, the attackers were wearing military uniform and were armed with sub-machine guns and grenade-launchers. They also used night vision devices in the course of the attack.

The attackers set two "Ural" cars on fire and hijacked a truck and two excavators.

The Internal Department stressed that by this morning the excavators had been discovered in the course of the investigation in the near-by mountainous district.

Measures are being undertaken to identify and track down the attackers.
