KamAZ's head comments on production plans
KamAZ's production is planned to be loss-free this year, Sergey Kogogin,general director of this automobile manufacturing plant, declared at apress conference today, which was organized within the framework of theseventh Moscow International Motor Show-2002. According to him, thecompany's output plan for 2003 has been corrected taking into account thefact that in the fist half of 2002 the company did not fulfill its salesplan. The plant suffered losses amounting to 303.16m rubles ($9.62m) inthis period. As a result, the output plan of KamAZ for 2002 is 20,000 to20,500 automobiles, compared to 22,500 trucks in 2001..
