Vneshtorgbank's head comments on situation with Vneshekonombank
The process of handing over the commercial business of Vneshekonombank toVneshtorgbank will be completed in two months, head of Vneshtorgbank AndreyKostin announced in an interview with journalists in Shanghai today.According to him, Vneshekonombank will retain its commercial functions, butit won't be dealing with commercial crediting any more. Kostin was quotedas saying that the whole procedure of passing this function toVneshtorgbank had already been coordinated. "There is a clear understandingthat assets and liabilities should be handed over at once," the officialstressed. He added that a list of steps in this process had beencoordinated with Vneshekonombank. .
