George Soros dispels rumours about his withdrawal from Russia
Prominent US financier George Soros has refuted publications by the Russian press on his withdrawal from Russia and the closure of his foundation there.
In a statement RIA Novosti received from the Open Society Institute /Soros Foundation/, George Soros stresses that he does not intend "to cancel his charity activity." According to his statement, Soros wants to transform his foundation into "a Russian organisation and to comprehensively support it in cooperation with other benefactors, including Russian ones." Soros confirmed that all financial commitments of the Open Society Institute would be fulfilled.
