Russian-Bulgarian Business Forum Opens in Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
A Russian-Bulgarian business forum opened today in the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Chamber's vice-president, Vladimir Strashko, declared that 'Russian-Bulgarian relations have recently made clear progress'. This is demonstrated both by the recent visit of the Bulgarian Prime Minister to Russia and the current forum, which is being held in connection with an official visit by Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov.
Bulgarian deputy prime minister Kostadin Paskalev said that particular success had been achieved in the construction, energy, manufacturing, trade and tourism sectors.
