RAO UES of Russia to cooperate with US equipment suppliers
The management of Eximbank expressed its interest in stepping up US companies' cooperation with RAO UES of Russia, a Russian energy giant. As the Media Department of RAO UES of Russia reported to RBC, on July 17, 2002 Senior Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of the Russian energy giant Leonid Melamed met with Vice President of Eximbank Eduardo Agrippe. At this meeting the parties discussed the outlooks of cooperation between RAO UES of Russia and the US energy equipment suppliers and the investment possibilities in the Russian energy sector.
