Aeroflot reports drop in payments for services
The volume of services of Aeroflot Airlines that were paid for in June 2002dropped 16.6 percent to 3.318bn rubles (about $105m) as compared to May,the Russian State Statistics Committee reported. Out of this sum, 2.978bnrubles ($94m) were paid by money transfers, which was 18.1 percent lessthan in May, and 318m rubles, or $10.08m (2.9 percent more than in May)were paid by cross-cancellations of debts. In addition, 1m rubles (about$32,000) were paid by barter supplies, which was 21 percent less than inMay of this year. The remaining services were paid for by other types ofpayments..
