Dollar unchanged despite low credit rates
The average-weighted dollar exchange rate amounted to 31.83 RUR/USD at the beginning of this morning's session on US currency. It means it did not change compared to the previous level.
Dealers of commercial banks pointed to the fact that a lack in the growth of dollar quotations at the UTS was amid favorable ruble liquidity. According to experts of commercial banks, one-day ruble credit rates have been 3.5-4.5 percent this morning, which is a rather low level. The rates were practically the same yesterday.
According to experts, an advance in the dollar rate is hindered currently by the selling of export currency revenues. Although their amount has decreased, compared to the first few days in January, the volume of these revenues is still quite considerable.
