Gazprom's aircraft subsidiary to present "flying clinic"
Gazprom's subsidiary Gazpromavia will make a presentation of unique medicalaircraft at the international air show 'Civil Aviation 2002', which opensat the Domodedovo airport on August 14. According to the press service ofGazprom, the company will show An-74 TK-100C, which is designed for theevacuation of patients in a critical condition to hospitals. The plane isoutfitted with life support and diagnostic equipment. It is also possibleto perform minor surgeries on board of this aircraft. The "flying clinic" can simultaneously transport 8 patients for a distanceof up to 4,300 km. The cruising speed of the plane is 600 km/hour. Itscharacteristics and the location of the power unit meet international noisecontrol requirements, which allows to use the plane in other countries ofthe world. It can take off from and land on unpaved and icy air strips.Additionally, Gazpromavia will present a VIP-class plane Yak-42D. Established in March of 1995, Gazpromavia has a fleet consisting of 34planes and 71 helicopters including Dassault Falcom 900 B, Yak-42D, Yak-40,To154M, Tu-134A-3 and Il-76TD planes and Mi-2, Mi-8 and Ka-26 helicopters.This company has offices in Kaluga, Perm, Samara, Ukhta, Yugorsk(Sovetsky), Sochi and Yamburg.
