Deutsche Bank to expand presence in Russia
Deutsche Bank is going to expand its presence in Russia, the bank's chairman Josef Ackermann announced at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov today.
A source in the department of government information reported that Kasyanov and Ackermann had stated positive dynamics of Russia's loan bonds. According to Deutsche Bank's representatives, this has a positive impact on strengthening confidence in Russia.
The Russian PM and the Deutsche Bank head also discussed the development of financial markets, the situation in the banking sector and issues related to currency settlement.
