Former official of SIBUR may be released from custody on bail
Former Vice President of SIBUR Yevgeny Koshin may be released from custody on bail of 2m rubles (about $63,000) tomorrow. The corresponding motion was voiced by Koshin's attorneys during today's court hearings in a Moscow municipal court. The attorneys mentioned the same grounds for their motion as before - the unsatisfied state of health of their client and the violation of the principle of contentiousness and equality of the parties. They tried to convince the court that Koshin was not going to hide, hamper the investigation or put pressure on witnesses.
The former Vice President of SIBUR is accused of participation in the embezzlement of SIBUR funds, money laundering and exceeding his authority.
