The EU has allocated a further EURO 2.5 million to help finance reforms of Russia's judicial system. As a Rosbalt correspondent reports, this was announced at a press conference on Tuesday after a meeting of representatives of the ministries of justice and of the interior of Russia and three EU countries and head of the EC delegation to Russia Richard Wright. Mr Wright said that the EU is satisfied with Russia's progress in reforming its judicial system. According to Mr Wright, EURO 18 million has already been allocated as part of the TACIS (Technical Assistance for the Commonwealth of Independent States) project. 'We are ready to finance further judicial reforms in Russia and to cooperate in this area,' said Mr Wright.
