Sibneft posts forecast on net profit
The net profit of Sibneft oil company is expected to reach about $1bn in 2002, Viktor Mishnyakov, head of the Sibneft investor relations department, announced at a press conference. He pointed out that the company's dividend policy would stipulate minimal dividend payments equal to 15 percent of the net profit. At the same time, the official stressed that the final decision on dividends was to be passed by the board of directors and approved by shareholders.
