Baggage loader hits passenger plane at Yekaterinburg airport

 

In Yekaterinburg, an accident occurred at Koltsovo Airport. A baggage loader collided with a plane of Ural Airlines, which was preparing for take off (flight 262 Yekaterinburg-Moscow, departure time 8:15 a.m.).

According to the press service of Koltsovo Airport, the accident was not serious. "A contact between the moving truck and the aircraft occurred. The technical service inspected the aircraft and found no damage on the fuselage," a spokesperson for the airport said.

The plane was allowed for take off. Nevertheless, airport employees are trying to find out how the baggage loader could hit the Airbus of Ural Airlines.

These days, the world follows the investigation of the crash at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport that took place on October 21, when a private jet of the French company Total collided a snowplow during take of. The  head of the oil corporation and three crew members were killed.
